What is this?

Occupational Safety and Health management systems are relevant and can be applied to all businesses, regardless of size or activity.

The ISO 45001: 2018 standard was published on March 12, 2018 and a three-year transitional period was set for the transition of certification from OHSAS 18001: 2007 to ISO 45001: 2018, ie the deadline is March 11, 2021. On this date all certificates issued in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001 will become invalid. It is noted, however, that after March 12, 2020, all certificates issued will be exclusively in accordance with the ISO 45001: 2018 standard.

The goal of ISO 45001 is to reduce occupational injuries and illnesses, including the promotion and protection of physical and mental health.
